Chevrolet will soon launch an all-new Chevrolet Cruze in North America based on the same D2XX global vehicle platform the new Cruze for China is. That car will have lots to live up to considering the tremendous success the current version of the compact car has been, with GM recently announced sales of the Cruze have topped 3 million since its launch in 2008.
Cruze sales hit 3 million units this month after hitting 2 million units sold just 16 months ago. Chevrolet notes the Cruze is sold in 118 countries around the world, built in eleven different plants and has received eighty eight awards from automotive media in multiple countries.
