50th Anniversary Ford Mustang is a pony that's ready to party

Ford is marking the 50th Anniversary of the Mustang with a special version of America’s original pony car.

The 2015 Mustang 50 year Limited Edition is a Mustang GT fastback that’s been dressed up with several retro cues.

Among them are an extra helping of chrome exterior trim, unique grille with mustang in a corral logo, and rear quarter windows designed to look like they’re covered with louvers. Each car will is equipped with an upgraded performance package and powered by a 5.0-liter V8 with “at least” 420 hp. The only options are a choice of manual or automatic transmissions and Wimbledon White or Kona Blue paint.
